Before any surgery, your pet will need a full exam by one of our veterinarians to ensure they are healthy enough to undergo the procedure. As well, we require all animals be vaccinated before surgery can be performed to both protect ourselves and other patients in the clinic from possible diseases.
During surgery, your pet will receive one-on-one care by one of our Registered Veterinary Technicians as well as: Intravenous Fluids (IV), pain medication while in the clinic, a nail trim, laser treatment to aid the healing of the wound, and a pre-anesthetic exam by the technician overseeing your pet.
We have additional options you can choose to do including microchip implantation, bloodwork, hind dewclaw removal (for dogs), pre-surgical bloodwork, and removal of deciduous teeth (per doctor recommendation). The surgeries we perform include:
Our veterinarians may perform other surgeries on a case by case basis.
For more complicated procedures a veterinarian specializing in surgery may be booked to perform the procedure.
